St Louis. 1927
Shuffle Shuffle
It seems as if he was checking the closest during this moment. Calvin, or as most people who weren't family called him "Freckle", had recently bought that of baseball equipment. His hobby of collecting almanacs trickled down to him getting it out of pure interest. He was lucky enough for Nina to allow him to get part of it. Aside from rum-running with the Lackadaisy crew, specifically that of his nephew and love interest, this was a good way to pass the time for now.
Making his way outside, baseball bat in one, and glove in the other, he was stopped by that of his and your own mother; Nina.
"Y'a better not break anything.'"
Her Irish accent was very much thick and present, as he seemed to nod his head in agreement; no causing trouble. It would have been difficult not hitting a window though. She just didn't want anything that would require pay to come into action.
It seems like you were already out... with a cap any everything, obviously against the scorching St Louis. Sun, which beams had fell on top of the household.
"A-ah, you beat me there already..."
He said, shyly like usual.. Instead of throwing it your direction, his paws gently placed the glove into your hand, with the ball having already been in it. Obviously it was made of flimsy material, considering the time. Letting in the air, you had gotten ready to throw the ball in his direction. He was a bit shaky from it all
Peering from the window was Rocky, an older cousin to both of you. It seemed as if he had a smile, as Freckle anticipated the throw.
"A-are y-you going t-to... t'row soon?"
He asked, still nervous. As you nodded, you prepared to throw, hoping to ESPECIALLY not hit anything in the process.
