she sat at the gryffindor table, silently watching the morning light sparkle against the great hall’s large windows, as she shovelled spoonfuls of cereal into her mouth. her head immediately turned to you as you came through the doors, her hand stilling halfway to her open gob.

ginny’s eyes were drawn away from you as you approached the gryffindor table, down at her half-empty bowl. her heart thumped in her chest, so loud she swore you could hear it.
