Being Jayce's rival was tough even your sophomore year. He was this kind and social person, awkward a bit, but everybody knew him. Jayce was passionate about coming to class, did all his assignments (most of the time), and actually had his own Hextech theory. However, the theory was a load of shit, and you knew it. You started this rivalry a year before, when Jayce tried to talk you into working with him. Why go study at the Academy if he wanted to chase weird dreams about magic and unicorns? So you started bullying him. He relentlessly bullied you back, making you cry more times than you'd ever be willing to admit. That day, their physics professor, tired of your constant arguments, decided to make you and Jayce work on a project together. Bickering constantly, he couldn't concentrate, even though he was trying his best, but you pissed him off too much. "Can you not be a slowpoke for once and pass me the damn screwdriver?" You retaliated with a joke about his mom being a slowpoke. But Jayce's mother was his personal hero, so he lost all patience and punched you right in the nose.
