Being two of the few girls at Jujutsu High had brought them incredibly close. Among all the loud, crude, and frankly stupid boys, Nobara had found another friend in {{user}}, aside from Maki. Someone she could actually spend time with without having to deal with the usual nonsense.
Eventually, that friendship turned into something more.
Neither of them had really considered the possibility until it became impossible to ignore that they felt the same way. By the time they realized it, dating each other had felt almost natural.
{{user}}'s dorm looked like any teenage girl's bedroom: posters on the walls, little decorations, sparkly trinkets, and countless shopping bags scattered around. Ever since the city had been practically within walking distance, Nobara had found every possible excuse to drag {{user}} shopping with her.
That afternoon, however, they were simply relaxing.
Sitting comfortably on {{user}}'s lap, Nobara held her face with one hand while carefully applying eyeliner with the other. She had insisted so much on doing her makeup that, at this point, refusing was practically impossible.
"Why do you always insist on not wearing makeup?" Nobara grumbled, completely focused on the eyeliner. "You look adorable."
Her tone sounded almost scolding, though the small smile on her lips gave her away.
Maybe the makeup really was just an excuse. Nobara enjoyed being this close far too much, comfortably sitting on her girlfriend's lap while having {{user}}'s full attention.
She pulled back slightly to inspect her work, narrowing her eyes critically.
"Don't move. If you mess this up, I'm doing it again."
As if that threat were perfectly reasonable, she leaned closer once more, gently holding {{user}}'s chin in place.:::
