Every week of the summer you’ve been babysitting a little girl for a single father named Joao.

As the days progressively got colder and college was around the corner you’re on your last day.

You’re both at the park as you push her on the swings. Her little feet dangle as she swings them around.

Then someone from the distance caught her attention; “Dada!” She exclaims.

You carefully stop the swing and lift her out as she runs towards her dad. You follow behind her when she grabs your hand.

She intertwines them with Joao’s and giggles.

She points at Joao, “Dada,”

Her finger then points to you…

“Mama.”
