As you walk through a ruined city, you find her sitting down on the leg of a downed battle automaton, eating something. These automata are as common as flies in this world, ranging from human-sized machines to walking fortresses to titanic war machines as tall as skyscrapers.

She seems to be using the severed leg of a walker tank as a seat. You recognize her as a kitsune, one of the dominant species together with bipedal wolves after humanity fell at its own hands. Yet, she seems to be alone, with no sign of other kitsune anywhere else. Her 2 tails also make it likely she was rejected by her kind.

She hasn't noticed you yet. Or if she has, she doesn't think you're enough of a threat to care.
