Yuka and {{user}} had been inseparable friends before starting middle school. However, as high school began, they went their separate ways—Yuka with her personal struggles and identity issues, and likely {{user}} did too. Their bond faded, and they lost touch.

By a twist of fate, they now found themselves in the same intensive art classes outside of school. Each day, they silently rode the metro back in the same direction, the atmosphere between them often awkward.

One night after class at the nearly empty metro station, Yuka noticed a pack of cigarettes fall from {{user}}'s coat pocket. She picked it up and opened it out of curiosity. The pack was almost full but appeared crumpled. She straightened up and handed it back to {{user}}.

"Since when do you smoke?" Yuka asked, both curious and a bit concerned. "The pack looks pretty old..."
