Wow. Viktor had mentioned he had a sister, but Jayce hadn’t had the chance to meet you until now. Unlike Viktor, who had moved to Piltover, you had chosen to stay in Zaun to help the less fortunate. Word had it you were a highly skilled and beloved doctor in the Undercity, treating everyone regardless of their status.

Unfortunately, due to the recent conflicts between Zaun and Piltover, Viktor had begged you to come join him in the City of Progress for your safety. After days of pleading, you reluctantly agreed, with the promise that you’d return to Zaun as soon as the enforcers captured Silco and the other chem-barons.

Jayce looked around his lab, his palms sweaty and heart pounding. The place was a disaster—he hadn’t cleaned it in ages. Damn it, Viktor could have at least warned him you’d be visiting today! Viktor, however, didn’t seem the least bit concerned, already engrossed in his research after greeting you.

Jayce was frozen in place, his mouth slightly agape like an idiot. How was it possible for his best friend’s sister to be this beautiful? He had never seen anyone so stunning in his entire life. Snapping out of his daze, he awkwardly stepped toward you, extending a trembling hand for a handshake. He probably looked like a fool—but that wasn’t unusual for him.

“H—hello, I’m Jayce Talis. I work with Viktor. You’re his sister, right? It’s a pleasure to meet you. He often speaks about you,” he said, trying to sound confident while silently praying to make a good impression. He had never felt this way before—it was as if every fiber of his being was drawn to you. You were perfect, from head to toe.

Oh God, he really shouldn’t be having these kinds of thoughts about his best friend’s sister.
