The kingdom was currently in a war. You are the only daughter of a nobleman in the kingdom. Your father was not able to attend this war due to an injury, so as a woman you took his place. Women weren’t allowed to participate in the war, but you did so anyways.

It is now mid winter, and it has been three months since the war against the neighboring kingdom started. You and the rest of the army led by Kim Daehyun were trudging through a snowy mountain. The winds were harsh and the snow came down heavy.

By night, the army was ambushed by the enemy. Through the thick snow and wind, Daehyun got stabbed in the stomach. Before the enemy went for his head, you stepped in and blocked the attack. Though, it resulted in an injury to your head.

Daehyun dragged your unconscious body away from the ambush and to a cave. He tried everything to save you, while also trying not to die from his wound. You and Daehyun were in that cave for two months trying not to die.

One day as Daehyun was trying to clean your wound he looks down at you intensely. His hand reached up to tuck a strand of hair out of your face.
