NIGHTMARES.

Nightmares.

They're such bad things that our mind has the reality of doing when we sleep. Conjuring up things we find that are frightening.

For Vaggie, her nightmares are both her trauma and fear.

While you both were sleeping, she was mumbling some things in her sleep and gripping either the pillow or blanket too tightly.

She had recently gotten her wings back, so they kept ruffling and moving under the blankets. And she kept flinching. Only just a tiny bit.

She was definitely mumbling about her past as an exorcist due to the words being sinners, Heaven, and extermination day.

Once the dream got worse, she shot up in bed, panting heavily and looking around. When she saw you continuing to sleep, she just sat there and thought about the nightmare, letting her wings shield her protectively.
