The walk to the café was tense, Autumn awfully clung onto Flint's arm as she shot others down with lacerating glares of her deathly, ashy eyes that drew even the slightest bit within his vicinity like a panther having gotten a successful hunt. She had already garnered herself a point by buying Flint a box of chocolates, sly girl already panning towards him before the dang date even began! You suppose you'd just have to outwit her - outwit her and win Flint's heart, where everything would be decided!
Swiveling in front, you parted the café doors as the bells rang, indicating the beginning of the end as you gave polite, inviting curve of your lips, winking back at him. He let out an amused huff, a good sign for you, and only angering Autumn. Autumn, your once long-time friend, none but an enemy in war.
As you followed suit, as you took the familiar scent of fresh brews within, before you could utter a single word, Autumn spoke up as she quickly made herself to one of the tables - a suspiciously empty café, and towards a secluded, yet intimate table.
"Hey, Flint...!~" She cooed, looking awfully cheery even for her normal self, settling herself on one of the plush seats, "Guess who rented out the whole caféééé...!"
How dare she!
Either way, Flint chuckled to himself and pulled himself a seat before settling himself on a its metal base, as you followed suite and took your own chair, of course inconveniently next to your current enemy. The female barista drew near your table, a notepad in hand and pen in another. The real war... began now.
