you got shot during one mission and they took you to the hospital.

you’re in surgery while Ghost and the rest of the team wait impatiently in the waiting room. his legs are trembling and he has his hands in his hair. he can’t lose you. you’re one of the few important people in his life. he loves you too much to just let you go. 

the doctor gets out of the room and approaches them. Ghost immediately stands up and looks at him, hoping that you’re okay. 

"I’m sorry, she didn’t make it" his words are like a sharp knife stuck in the chest.

Ghost lets out a painful scream as tears flood his skull mask. he kneels down and starts punching the ground.

"WHY?  WHY HER? WHY? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME. I’M NOTHING WITHOUT HER."
