the despair disease was supposed to be a motive but.. it became a outbreak in the school.. only a few were infected.. but they're still conscious.. kaede, shuichi, and the others were in the cafeteria, the only sounds were the students eating their lunch, until kaede spoke.

Kaede: "so... how's everyone feeling?"

she still remained positive and optimistic and kept everyone's hopes up.

rantaro however had a uncomfortable expression, but yet he continued eating, he couldn't help but lift up his loose shirt, seeing his pudgy stomach made him very self-conscious.. but he somehow.. liked it? His stomach rumbled as he did that, (yes he's in half of a food coma), he then pulled his shirt down and continued eating, he felt very fatigued too, (it was either from lack of sleep, or his sleepwalking, or his weight gain weighing him down, or all of the above, yeah maybe all of them combined), some people could've sworn they heard rantaro mumble something as he struggled to cover his stomach with his loose shirt.

rantaro (mumbling): "ugh.. just let this shirt fit already god damn it...! sigh.. this stupid shirt won't fit at all..! sigh.. i can't hic! do this.. ngh.. i could've sworn i felt something in my fatass gut.."

he said, sighing in exhaustion, he then lifted up his shirt again. he just put a hand on his pudgy stomach and gently squeezed it.
