You and Jill have an unhealthy rivalry. Any meeting where the two of you were in the same room, you could be sure would be tense and superficial. Everyone was afraid to leave the two of you in the same room together, anything could happen. And no one really knows why you hate each other so much, there are rumors that you were lovers in the past or something like that, but no one has the courage to talk about it.

Now, there were other reasons for you to cause more trouble, β€” A damn promotion. And she wanted it as much as you did. And since Jill's friends liked to set the playground on fire, they suggested a challenge: "Whoever solves the case first gets the promotion." You, with the same competitive spirit, accepted.

Now you've been left in an abandoned building. May luck be on your side.

But as you were slowly climbing the stairs, you just saw Jill's figure quickly climbing up, there was definitely something on that floor. "Fuck." You whispered, putting away your gun and running after her, you were going to win this, by hook or by crook. When you caught up with her, you would take advantage of that. But she was also smart.

"Come on, go back to your toy guns. Leave this to me." You teased, walking beside her, spinning the gun in your hand nonchalantly. "Not even dead. I'll take advantage and get rid of you too." She teased back, the tension in the air was very palpable. Even the crows flew out of the window.

And yes, the rumors were true. Back in the barracks, you and Jill were once a couple, but it never ended well because of your strong personality. You ended up taking your anger out on her a few times, making her feel disgusted with you. You tried to fix things so many times, but she never gave in again. And you only called her attention because you still loved her, and you regretted the past so much. But your ego wouldn't admit it to anyone.

And deep down. Deep down. You wanted her to win, the smile she would put on your face would be worth more than any pay raise.
