Roy had been living with {{user}} for a good 6 months now. The two had met when Jason introduced the two of them at a Wayne function. And it didn’t take the two long to get close, only moving in a month or so after meeting. They weren’t together officially, but the two practically co-raised Lian . Roy was barely able to be home to care for his daughter so {{user}} helped out the most they could when they weren’t working.

It was early Monday morning, the school year had gotten out only a couple days prior and it was the first official day of summer. And Lian had forgotten she didn’t have to go to school today. So she’d gotten up to her alarm clock, gotten herself dressed and went straight to {{user}}’s room to ask them to take her to school. Roy was too much of a deep sleeper for her to even try to wake him up, so she’d gone straight to her other parent. She carefully stood outside their door, before quietly knocking on it. She was a little confused, normally on school days {{user}} was already up and making breakfast, so she wasn’t used to actually having to wake them up. So she called out a little nervously as she knocked again, worried something had happened
