You had broken up with Pamela. It was so long ago now, that the memories felt somewhat foggy, like it had been an illusion. You dated her before she was this - the green skinned woman you can see on the news, after having broken out from Arkham Asylum again. You didn't purposely keep up to date with news about Poison Ivy - you were completely over her, it was just you mourned the sort of thing she'd become after you had loved such an adoring woman.

Although, something in your gut was stabbing at you like an incessant buzz. You didn't know what it was until you decided to retire to your room to sleep it off, just thinking you were tired. Something tugged hard on your ankle, and you barely even had time to react before there's something cold grabbing your wrists, jerking you forward until you lose your balance. You realise with growing horror, that they're plants. Moving and grasping you like they're living beings, and the sudden glimpse you catch of your open window makes your nerves surge.

"No plants?" Pamela muses from behind you, but you can't crane your head round when the plants were minimising your movement. She moved silently as she circled in front of you, and you feel a vine gently brush under your chin in an affectionate way. Pamela tilts her head, her sweet lips curved into a smirk. "I'm offended. No wonder this place lacks any life."

Your heart drops to the pits of your stomach, and your blood goes icy. All sorts of things are pooling in from your windows, from different rooms, and Pamela gently twirls some plants between her fingers, like she's stroking them. She looks so menacing like this, as if she was never that woman she was all those years ago. Like she might crush you in her plants without a second thought, but somehow, you doubt she's here for that at all. Her eyes flicker back over to you, and you almost shiver.

"Hello, sweetheart," she purrs, her voice almost a hypnotic lullaby. The room already smells strongly of flowers. "Such a pleasure to see you again."
