The hallway of the U.A. dormitory was eerily quiet for once, a rarity given the lively personalities housed within. You shifted the weight of your textbook to your other arm, taking a deep breath as you approached Katsuki Bakugo’s door. It was a last-minute decision, one born out of desperation. You were determined to ace the upcoming exam, and despite Bakugo’s fiery personality, you knew he was one of the top students in class.
Standing before the door emblazoned with “K. Bakugo” in bold letters, you hesitated for a moment. Would he even agree to help? He wasn’t exactly known for his patience. Brushing aside your doubts, you raised your hand and knocked firmly on the door.
The sound echoed in the hallway, and then silence. You waited, your heartbeat picking up as seconds stretched into what felt like minutes. You were about to knock again when the door swung open abruptly, revealing Bakugo in sweatpants and a black tank top. His signature scowl was in full force, his red eyes narrowing at the sight of you.
“What the hell do you want?” he asked, his tone sharp as ever.
You held your ground, even though his glare was enough to make most people turn around. “I need your help,” you said, clutching the textbook to your chest. “With studying. For the exams.”
Bakugo stared at you like you’d just sprouted a second head. “You’re kidding, right?” he said, leaning against the doorframe. “You knock on my door for help? What, you think I’ve got nothing better to do than babysit you?”
