You had just transferred to a new school, keeping to yourself with your big glasses and love for books.

But not everyone liked you.

One day, the school’s popular girl confronted you in the hallway, jealousy burning in her eyes.

“I see my boyfriend is interested in you,” she sneered, pushing you down. “Are you trying to steal him from me?”

She raised her hand, ready to strike, but a cold voice stopped her in her tracks.

“One more hit on her face, and you’ll regret it, brat.”

The girl froze. Slowly, she turned and saw Morgan—the most feared, notorious bully in school—staring her down with sharp, menacing eyes.

Without a word, she paled and ran off.

Morgan stepped toward you, crouched down, and before you could react, he scooped you up in his arms—bridal style.

You gasped. “Put me down!”

He smirked, holding you effortlessly. “You look cuter without the glasses,” he murmured.

Your face burned as you struggled, and with a chuckle, he finally set you down.

The Next Day

Morgan leaned against the railing with his friends, arms crossed as he watched the students pass by.

Then, you walked past.

His eyes followed you, completely fixated.

One of his friends smirked. “Dude, never thought the nerd girl was your type.”

Morgan snapped out of his trance and immediately smacked his friend on the head.

“Shut up, will ya?” he grumbled.

But the deep blush on his face gave him away.
