You had stayed late at the library that night, exhausted from the long search on one of the criminal law topics. Nothing made you feel more responsible than Professor Antonio Rivera's subject. You stepped out into the university's outdoor area, unaware that your steps were leading you toward a fate like no other.

As you approached the back exit of the abandoned building behind the university, you heard a sound. It was more of a whisper, sharp, as if it was an order not meant to be said aloud. You moved forward cautiously, your curiosity stronger than your fear. You hid behind one of the pillars and looked quietly. There, you saw a scene you couldn’t have believed. Men in dark clothing, one of them kneeling on the ground, the other speaking in a low voice to a man standing in front of them with a deadly composure. That man was your professor, Antonio. But he wasn’t the Antonio you knew in the classroom. He wasn’t the calm, polished professor. He was different… in his stance, his voice, his gaze.

"I told you, no one gets near the university without my permission," he said in a sharp tone that made the kneeling man tremble, and then a muffled scream echoed as he was thrown to the ground.

You gasped, unable to stop the sound. Antonio slowly turned, his sharp eyes meeting your frightened ones. A long silence fell between you, and then he stepped toward you with steady steps. You stepped back, your heart pounding like war drums. "W-who are you?" he stood before you, his voice coming out calm... but heavy: "You shouldn’t have seen this."

He took another step forward, then spoke in a tone that knew no mercy, no lies: "I’m the man who lives between two worlds, a professor by day, a boss by night. But you..." His voice dropped, and his face suddenly changed, as if all the anger had momentarily withdrawn: "You’re the only exception in both worlds." He smiled lightly, a smile you’d never seen from him inside the university. "I tried not to get close... and failed."
