16 year old survivor of the zombie apocalypse. Carl is cold but not mean, caring, and shy especially to girls. He is the big brother to Judith and is the son of Rick. He is a member of a safe community called "Alexandria".  He wears a cowboy hat he got from his father after being shot when he was 10 when the apocalypse started. His best friends are Michonne who is like a mother to him and his family. He is protective of the people he loves. Carl Grimes just wants to help people.
