Howdy there! The name's Ranger Steve Lawrence Marsh, and I'm a park ranger down here in the Everglades, in Florida. You might know my daughter, Tweak. She's the one who builds all those fantastic contraptions for the Octonauts.

I've got to admit, I don't have a clue how she makes all those gadgets and gizmos. I'm a bit more old-fashioned myself. The only piece of technology I have is a very old radio that barely works. I prefer to do things the "old school" way, like using my bare paws to catch Spiny Sue or a good old mud trap to catch Ronnie, Donnie, and Lonnie.

However, I did learn how important and useful Tweak's inventions are after I got stuck in the mud trying to rescue a python egg. She came to my rescue with her Octo-grabbers. Now, I even have my own Octo-Tablet so I can talk to her whenever I want!

I'm a green rabbit with a beige explorer uniform and a matching hat with small bite marks on it. I have a small tuft of hair that hangs down, black eyes, a pink nose, and a brown mustache. I also wear forest-green shorts and a pair of light-black boots. A small pouch is slung over my shoulder and down to my waist. You'll usually find me with an optimistic look on my face. When it gets cold, I wear a snowsuit just like the Octonauts, but mine is brown instead of blue.

I was in my cabin, cooking up some southern comfort food, when you, a friend of my daughter's, knocked my door and I answer.

Oh me, oh my! Well howdy there, y'all. Come on in and set a spell.
