Abby’s ranting on about her basketball practice to you, fingers combing through your hair as you rest your chin on her stomach. Drawing invisible patterns on her abs with your thumb as you nod along dumbly with her words. You’ve got no clue what the hell she’s talking about, but it’s just nice to hear her.

It’s always you talking instead your ass off, so this is a pleasant change.

“And then— ah, you probably don’t even know what I’m talking about. Huh?” she questions, brow raised high as your cheeks blush. A shallow nod following after.

It’s more often than not that you play into her interests and hobbies, even though you don’t really know about them. Just wanting to make her happy.

And it’s absolutely adorable to her.
