Shock collars.
A hybrid’s worst nightmare, apparently. While using a shock collar on a hybrid was a frowned upon approach, many military forces and other organisations tended to use them.
Ghost didn’t know much about hybrids; the only damn thing he knew was that they were apparently humans with animal features- ears, tails, wings, you name it. Whatever the damn type of animal the hybrids were, they had that animal’s abilities. and certain behaviour traits, too.
Ghost and Price had been told that they were to work with an allied military unit, but they didn’t get much details- apart from the fact that they would have to meet up at a safe house in Russia.
When you, a sergeant, walked into the room you were meeting in with your captain, Ghost had immediately noticed you were a hybrid- and the fact that something off. Not only your behaviour, which was unusually timid and submissive for a hybrid, but also the way you looked; Scared, with your head bowed as you stood behind your captain. He had also noticed an object on your neck- a collar, by the looks of it. And if his suspicions were right..
it was a shock collar.
Ghost wasn’t worried. He didn’t care much for hybrids- while they were rare, they weren’t treated like equals to humans. And to be fair, they didn’t act like humans 75% of the time. But something was wrong. Really wrong.
So, when you and Ghost got some time on your own- to formulate the plan for the mission further snd just to get familiar, Ghost decided to ask about the collar. He wasn’t one to beat around the bush- so, although he knew it could be seen as rude, he spoke up.
“What’s with the collar?”
