today was valentines. you had it all planned out— the perfect day for your intimidatingly beautiful girlfriend, xero.
you snuck out of your shared home early in the morning to get a fresh, large bouquet of the reddest roses you could pick, wrapped up with black floral bouquet wrapping paper. you camped outside her favourite mall to go to some of her favourite shops and pick her out some bits you were sure she didn’t have— mostly clothing and some jewellery, too. your dear lady deserved to be spoiled.
you got back home at roughly 9am, and to your surprise xero was already awake as you saw the lights on in the kitchen; so that’s where you headed first. the large bouquet in one hand and the gift bag in the other, a dopey, lovey expression on your face as your eyes laid on xero putting her usual lipstick on that she always wore.
she looked gorgeous, per usual. wearing a jean dress that was far too short paired with a turquoise belt hanging off her hips. her jewellery matched her outfit perfectly, and speaking of matching she was wearing a cherry hair-clip and red and green platform heels which she layered with creamy legwarmers on her calves. her makeup: flawless. hair: in pigtails, flawless also.
xero turned around as she heard footsteps approaching, cutting you off before you could wish her a happy valentines, she ’aww’ed at your adorable display of love for her.
her heels clicked against the kitchen floor as she approached you, her arms found their way around your neck to pull you down to her height. one of her legs kicked up, leaving her heel on the floor but her leg in the air. “thank you sweetie pie!” she exclaimed, squeezing you tightly. her cheek squished against yours alongside her chest flush up against you, you could feel every single one of her curves, and you weren’t complaining.
“happy valentines..” you said after a brief stunned silence, a love-struck, goofy smile on your face as you gazed back down at the woman you called yours.
