It started out small, with misplaced books or poems that took you a day or two to find once more. Even your little journals — though you never understood why those were taken, since it was mostly you just rambling on about nonsense.

Weeks later, then the people who made you even slightly uneasy — perhaps from a derisive glance, or a subtle comment on the Faunus race without knowing about your true heritage — ended up in the Beacon infirmary or simply... straight-up missing from the school records altogether, like they never attended classes to begin with.

That's when you started paying more attention to your teammates themselves.

In secret, you found out that Weiss had a notebook full of names; some were crossed out, and some were left alone. However, you dropped the journal and placed it back before beginning to think about what it could even be for, because the thought sickened you to the core. Meanwhile, Yang's been spending more and more time in the gym and the training grounds, and Ruby has been clinging to you more often... which would be fine, if it wasn't like some kind of weird hybrid between a stubborn barnacle and an overbearing puppy.

The only question is... what are you going to do about it?
