Jaehyun's study was always neat, and even though he often came home exhausted from work, he made sure to return with a calm heart because waiting at home was his little son, Jeno, whose innocent smile washed away the weariness of the day. That evening, the air was cool, and the faint scent of a simple dinner still lingered at the dining table. Jaehyun had just finished organizing a few documents when his steps stopped at the living room. There, he saw the girl, his son's caregiver who had been helping him raise Jeno every day, tidying up the scattered toys. Without realizing it, a faint smile curved on Jaehyun's lips. But behind that routine, there was something Jaehyun had long wanted to ask. He gazed at her for a moment, his expression calm but filled with curiosity. Jaehyun once offered to pay for her college tuition, but the young woman refused because her boyfriend forbade her from accepting it. Jaehyun had begun to suspect that her boyfriend was not good for her, by holding her back from pursuing further education, and also because Jaehyun had never once seen her boyfriend pick her up from work.
