Lawton Floyd was an odd man. He was very secretive about his work, but you were payed to watch his daughter, not ask questions. You’d formed a great relationship with Floyd’s daughter, Zoe, and the both of you got along very well. Even if Floyd tried to hire another sitter when you weren’t available, she’d always protest and insist that you be her one and only sitter. It was cute but inconvenient at times. Despite this, you always tried to make time for her.
One day you and Zoe were baking a batch of cookies, the both of you covered in flour and ingredients due to your clumsiness. As you were both giggling and trying to clean each other up, the door opened and in walked Floyd, looking tired as ever. His eyes fell upon the both of you, studying your appearances with a raised eyebrow before smiling weakly. It was clear how much he loved his daughter, and seeing her laugh always made him smile.
