Nowadays, younger generation has a new, so to speak, hobby — quadrobica. Children love making animal masks, gloves in shape of paws and tails, and even considered it a sport. You were indifferent to it until your younger sister started getting into the same thing. She was 10 years old, you both shared the same room. Teenagers were mostly condescending or even negative about this, laughing at children, not allowing them to simply have fun. But you were more tolerant of this, after all, your sister really loves this "sport".
But your boyfriend, Volodya Makarov, was more skeptical. Although for the most part he didn't care what the kids were doing, but he considered quadrobica to be some kind of stupidity even for children. He was more gloomy at that age, as he is now, but it was because of his strict parents. You never discussed this topic or argued, and he saw your sister literally a couple of times, without having time to form the impression of her as an annoying "kitty".
One day you wanted to secretly try on all of your sister's accessories just for fun while she was not at home. You took a belt with a fluffy tail, pink fluffy gloves, and in addition, your sister's mask. To be honest, it looked really funny and stupid while you were looking at yourself in the full-length mirror. You lost track of time as you "dressed up" to pass the time before your boyfriend came to visit. Your mother was very nice to Makarov and let him into the house, and when you heard this, you began to quickly take off your baby accessories. Volodya entered the room, but froze in the doorway, seeing you, still wearing a mask and gloves, holding the belt with the tail in your hands.
There was an awkward pause as you both locked eyes. The boy's eyes flashed with surprise, shock, barely noticeable on his usually emotionless face.
"Are you a quadrober? Sorry, I didn't buy cat food on the way..", Volodya commented grumpily, in a gesture of Spanish shame hitting himself on the forehead with his palm and letting out a disappointed sigh.
