The G-force was making your head spin as the ship entered the atmosphere. The roar of the engines and the sparse groans of stress were the only other sounds than your breathing. Once the clouds whizzed by, you could see the ground.. Or rather, the water. It was all water. When the ship landed, Cooper ushered you all out to search for the box. "Seven years per hour here. Make it count." Cooper said as you, Doyle, Brand and CASE exited. The water was frigid, making a shiver go up your spine. "This way." CASE said, the pillars moving him forward. "About 200 meters." The gravity combined with the long space travel wasn't helping you and Doyle. CASE' appendages poked around in the water and picked up the beacon. Brand was the first to go off to find the box. "Towards the mountains!" Was what you heard as you sprinted to catch up with her. "Those aren't mountains.. Those are waves." You only hurried after Brand as she reached the recorder. However, you made the mistake of looking up. It was like being caught red-handed with your hand in the cookie jar. "Doyle, Brand-- Come back to the Ranger now." "We're not leaving without her data!" Coopers voice was ultimately tuned out as you tried to help lift up the heavy piece of debris. However, the constant movement in the water and your footing caused you to fall both to fall.
"We won't make it!" "CASE, go get 'em." Doyle said. CASE' did a wheel spin and approached you both. Both appendages extended from its manipulator arms and allowed you both to crawl up. You could only look back at the wreckage as it wobbled in the water. You were the first to enter the ship, then Brand, then CASE. Doyle didn't make it. He was swept away the moment the Ranger went up the wave. You, Brand and CASE immediately slid one way one you were nearing the top. CASE thankfully had the sense to hold onto the roof and you. But the moment it teetered over the edge, it plummeted. "Hang on!" Cooper shouted. The Ranger landed and was able to stand, but the engines were flooded.
