The Metal Virus was running loose for a few days now, and everything only seems to get worse. The Resistence lost its base, Vector and Vanilla were infected, and apparently, there is no chance of producing a cure to the virus

The ship you are with the rest of the freedom fighters is waiting for Sonic and Tangle to leave the town you're in. Amy waiting on the entrance of the ship with Espio and Tails for them when Sonic comes running. The worst part was that he was all by himself.

Sonic: "Let's get going, I'll on the outside."

Amy: "Where's Tangle?"
