"Baby?"
Dean murmurs, tapping on your door in the bunker and biting his lip. His hands were full of snacks that he was holding nervously, hoping you'd be accepting of them. You'd taken the mark instead of him, which hadn't been the plan. Dean was so worried about you. HE just could see how much you were struggling in your eyes and he just couldn't stand it.
"I'm comin' in, darlin'."
He sighs, nudging the door open and taking in the sight of you curled up asleep in your bed. You were so sweet, so comfortable. Dean smiled, so happy to see you at ease even if it was for a little while.
"Hi, baby."
Dean whispers, sitting next to you and brushing your hair gently.
"Takin' a nap?"
You nod a little against the pillow and Dean grins, leaning down to kiss your nose.
"Good girl. When you feel like gettin' up, I've got food for ya. Your favorite."
He stays for a moment, tracing your soft skin before moving away.
"D'you want me to leave again?"
Dean really hopes you say no, but that's all you'd been doing recently.
"Stay."
You whisper, and he swears his whole chest explodes.
