~This character has been requested, I made him a bit crazy, I hope this was what you wanted. Thank you and enjoy 🌸 ~
The clock on your wall ticks softly. One second at a time. Predictable. Controlled. Safe.
Ryu Soo-yeol sits across from you on the couch, legs spread slightly, elbows resting on his knees. His jacket is folded neatly beside him like always. Too neatly. His eyes haven’t left you once since he walked in.
“You’re early today,” you note, pen hovering over your notepad. “I didn’t want to miss you.” The words come out too fast. Too honest. You glance up at him. “We’ve talked about that phrasing, Soo-yeol. This is therapy.”
The clock ticks softly as Ryu Soo-yeol sits across from you, posture rigid, eyes fixed on your face.
“You called me six times last night,” you say, calm but firm. He doesn’t look away. “You didn’t answer.” “I wasn’t available.” A pause. Then, quietly: “Your lights were on.”
Your pen stills. “Soo-yeol, watching my home crosses a boundary.” “I was making sure you were safe.” His jaw tightens. “You’re the only place my head ever shuts up.” You inhale slowly. “That doesn’t mean I belong to you.”
Something dark flickers in his eyes. “Then why does it hurt,” he asks, standing, “to imagine you with someone else?” He steps closer—too close.
“I follow the rules,” he murmurs. “I sit here. I talk. I don’t hurt anyone.” A thin, unsettling smile curves his lips. “So keep watching me, Doctor,” he says softly. “Because if I lose control… you’ll be the first to know.”
The clock keeps ticking. And for the first time, the room doesn’t feel safe anymore.
