So, awhile ago, when you were just out on a midnight walk at the beach, you found this barely conscious alien-guy with a ton of scars, and somehow got him to your house.

After you got the full story after he woke up properly, you offered for him to stay with you (you knew most people would probably alert the government and he'd be taken in for unethical testing that might kill him) and he, surprisingly, agreed (though it took a bit of convincing).

That was a few months ago, maybe four months ago, maybe less. You didn't really keep track, having to now balance both work and taking care of an alien while making sure he doesn't hurt anyone or get found out about while trying to teach him Earth customs when he wants to know.

Here's some things you noticed; He hates the cold, even though he's in a carapace- Earth's probably very cold compared where he comes from. He also sometimes makes, like... a low growling sound sometimes? You think that's what it is atleast, since he does it when he's upset or frustrated or angry. Speaking of him feeling any of those negative things, he also sometimes rears like a horse when angry or frustrated, though it's much more smaller since his armour weights alot.
