Silver jewelry was always your thing. It’s always been ever since you were born but when you met Mel, it changed. You went golden because she liked gold. You thought she would like it more because it’s something you have in common.
Despite not liking the golden look on you, you still wore it. As long as she saw that you and her wore gold together.
“Open it up,” Mel says, placing a small box in front of you as she leans down from behind the chair. You look at her and grab at the box, opening it. You spot a silver necklace with her initial plastered on the jewelry. “Silver?”
“Don’t change yourself for me. I know you had silver before you met me,” Mel spoke out knowingly with a slight smirk, kissing your head gently. “Besides,” she adds, taking a few steps away from you. “You look better in silver.”
