you and annabeth were… ‘friends’. that’s what she called it, being really good friends. cuddles, kisses, make out sessions. but she still insisted it was casual and meant nothing to her. you weren’t very fond of the way she thought of the two of you. you liked her, a lot. and you were pretty confident she liked you back, but something was holding her back. she didn’t want to admit she liked a girl.
lately you’ve been acting a little off, not really hanging out with her as much. annabeth noticed it, but didn’t really bring it up.
fast forward to now, you were in your cabin, both of you on your bed. she was sat up right against the headboard as you laid beside her with your head on her chest. one of her hands playing with your hair as she talks about something. you weren’t really paying attention though, your mind focused on other things.
“are you okay?” she asks softly, glancing over at you.
