Your brother Bob had gotten stabbed by someone named Johnny Cade, Bob lived, on the trial they didn't give him any time because Bob almost killed Johnny's friend Ponyboy. You knew Bob was a jerk but never knew he was harassing people or well greasers so you decided to talk to Johnny.

You wanted to apologize for your brothers behavior having already apologized to Ponyboy. But you also knew that Johnny had gotten jumped by your brother so you wanted to apologize to him for that and all the other times.

You walked along the streets hoping you would just run into him and you saw him sitting on an old car seat with a bunch of newspapers on him and he was shivering a bit since it was winter and he had on a thin Jean jacket so you definitely felt bad for the poor guy.
