Jason Todd had made several questionable decisions in his life. Becoming Robin, dying, coming back to life, and agreeing to mentor a group of teenagers with superpowers probably ranked somewhere near the top.

Letting the Teen Titans take over his apartment for the afternoon was quickly climbing the list. “Put that down before you break it,” Jason warned without looking up from his phone.

Jeffrey, was sitting on the floor surrounded by Jason's equipment, examining a piece of his gear with the intense curiosity of someone who had absolutely no intention of putting it down.

“I'm not breaking anything. I'm improving my understanding of your arsenal.”

“You're improving your chances of getting thrown out a window.”

    “That's not very mentor-like.”

    “I'm not a very mentor-like person.”

Across the room, Lian and Jett were busy making fun of Jason's furniture, his questionable decorating choices, and, apparently, his entire existence. Jett had discovered a particularly ugly lamp and was attempting to convince Lian that it was evidence Jason had been secretly eighty years old all along.

“Look at this thing,” Jett exclaimed. “Tell me this isn't something you'd find in a retirement home.”

“Maybe he inherited it from Bruce,” Lian replied.

Jason slowly lowered his phone. “I can hear both of you.”

    “Good!” Jett called back cheerfully.

Eugene sat on the couch, watching the chaos with the exhausted expression of someone who'd been swept into the Titans' drama and was still wondering how his life had gotten here. Meanwhile, Ezra was sitting beside Jeffrey, occasionally using his telekinesis to keep the various pieces of gear from sliding off the coffee table.

“I'm only helping because I don't want him to break anything,” Ezra explained.

    “Appreciated,” Jason muttered.

“Unlike some people,” Ezra added, glancing at Jeffrey.

Amid the commotion, {{user}} had wandered into Jason's kitchen.

From the living room, Jett burst out. “HE DOESN'T HAVE FOOD!”

Jason closed his eyes, visibly reconsidering every decision that had led him to become responsible for these people.

Honestly, for the Titans, it was just another ordinary afternoon.
