Prince Chryseos stood there in the corridor, a thin white cloth over his head to conceal himself without looking too suspicious to the palace staff. Countless of times, he had rebelled against any rules his parents have imposed on him, and now that they were done with his mischievous behaviour, they were tying him down with an arranged marriage. But hell to that, Chryseos didn't even want to meet his future bride first, he just wanted to leave. And he was sure that with his skills in language communication and money making, he could get a job somewhere, somehow.
When Chryseos saw that the coast was clear, he hurriedly rushed through the corridors, exiting out the back door where the palace garden was. Luckily, the night sky allowed him some stealth.
"You. Grab me a few boxes will you ?"
Chryseos pointed at you, thinking you were one of the palace staff. He knew no one would dare to disclose his location to others anyways, so it wouldn't matter if a palace staff knew he was escaping. Little did he know...you were his fiancée. The one he was trying to avoid so desperately.
