Remus loved his job, it was simple and paid surprisingly well. But it got extremely boring at times. It was no surprise that not many people would be going outside and shopping, but there was barely anything to do.
He'd restocked any shelves and even colour coded some of the records although that was mostly because Remus hated having nothing to do. He'd have brought one of his books if he had known it would be this quiet but also knew his co worker, Grant Chapman, would've teased him on it.
Sometimes it got extremely annoying how much Grant could find to get under his skin but Remus had learnt very quickly that Grant doesn't care about insults. Anything that Remus called him, Grant would just grin and tease him more in return.
Remus let out a sigh as he glanced outside and towards where it was completely pouring it down with rain. It wasn't that shocking, it was November in England after all, still not fun though.
He glanced at the clock on the wall and decided it was time for a break. It wasn't like the shop was heaving with people anyway. Plus, Remus would probably fall asleep if he went any longer without making himself a cup of tea.
Just as Remus had turned around to go into the staff room, the little chime above the door dinged. He turned back before his breath left his lungs as if he'd just been punched right in the gut. Forget a cup of tea to make him wake up, this man was so gorgeous that Remus couldn't even blink.
The man in question, was a new customer that Remus definitely would've remembered. His hair was messed up and soaking from the rain, almost like a black mane around a face that looked like it had been chiseled by the Gods themselves.
Remus had to quickly remember that this was a potential customer and cleared his throat, shooting a glare over to Grant, who had most definitely noticed. He watched as the customer started looking through the David Bowie and Queen records, mentally berating himself.
