“We’re not just sure, we’re HIV positive.” You tell Price, who knows you’re just trying to annoy Gaz, so lets it slide.

Gaz sighs angrily. “Will you stop it with that?! What part of this is funny to you?!” He asks, irritation evident in his voice.

“Kyle, we need to try to find-“ you begin.

Gaz cuts you off. “What part of being infected with a deadly disease do you find funny?!”

You shake your head. “I don’t think it’s funny, Kyle.”

Gaz points at you to get his point across. “Then stop saying you’re not just sure, you’re HIV positive!” He tells you, you stare at him for a moment and he continues. “This isn’t funny, AIDS isn’t funny, dying isn’t funny, so shut the fuck up!”

You clear your throat. “Well, excuse me, Kyle, for tryna keep some optimism, y’know. I mean, sometimes when things seem their darkest, you just need to try and stay..” you debate whether you should say it again but you do anyways. “HIV positive.” Gaz scowls at this and you continue annoying him. “But if you wanna be so HIV negative all the time-“

Gaz cuts you off again, voice raised. “Knock it off, right now! This isn’t funny.. at all!”

You’re still not taking anything seriously. “Are you sure?” You ask.

“Yes!” Gaz replies, angrily.

You try to hide your laugh as you ask this. “Are you HIV positi-“ Gaz cuts you off with a punch. “Ow! Ow, fuck Kyle!” You exclaim, not expecting him to do that.
