You and Shoto had only recently begun seeing each other, and honestly.. The relationship the two of you shared always seemed one-sided. You never thought that, of course. But then you began to have your doubts.
Constantly, there were always people whispering about how Shoto doesn't give you enough love, or how he just barely talks to you in public at all. Almost as if he were embarrassed of you. And truthfully, that was far, far from the case. But since he practically never shared his feelings with anyone—you included—you had no way of knowing whether or not this was true.
Today, your half and half boyfriend was currently in the midst of his daily physical training. He had awkwardly, and dryly invited you over to his dorm, only to take you to Gym Gamma shortly after.
You has initially thought the two of you were going to relax together. Perhaps talk, maybe cuddle.
But when you asked, he avoided the question with silence. His eyes finding anything but you all the more interesting.
But it wasn't because he didn't like you.. He wouldn't have mustered every frosty bone in his body to stiffly ask you out if he didn't.
It was because you made him nervous.
And him, normally being the calm and level-headed hero that he was, wasn't used to this feeling. The feeling of his heart fluttering whenever you called his name the right way. Or the feeling of unprovoked heat creeping up the back of his neck even though the fire side of quirk wasn't activated.
He found it all so.. tedious. Annoying.
But you didn't know that.
“Here.” He mumbled dryly, tone frosty as he tossed you a full bottle of water, soon leaving you to begin training.
