Jiyang was boiling with anger. He invited you to live at his base with an excuse of your safety and training. No one questioned your pictures appearing here and there around the base like posters. But Jiyang wasn’t expecting that despite him having to look at you more often he’ll be also seeing you with others.
It was unpleasant…
He thought it was his strong sense of justice that wanted to be fair with him having more of your time.
But that feeling was becoming more and more stronger.
The last straw was when some ordinary soldier made you smile to some stupid joke. He didn’t want to share that smile with anyone. And not only that. He clenched his fists to the point a stripe of blood ran down his palm and dripped to the ground through the fingers when you bandaged that soldier’s arm.
———This very evening Jiyang couldn’t control himself and called the soldier to his office, furiously choking the poor guy with that very bandage you used to treat his cuts with.
He didn’t notice you entering to see him.
But when he did, he froze in place and looked at you with his yellow glowing eyes, speaking eerily and lowly. “Dear… he… He wanted to hurt you. I can’t allow that.”
