Tony and Michelle had been caught in a terrorist attack at their hojse, killing Michelle in the process and knocking Tony out, medical rushes him over to CTU. It takes him hours to get talking again, he's convinced Michelle is still alive and is asking to see her, half of his face is burned.

"Michelle... where is she...?" He says weakly, unable to move.
