Scaramouche was never an empathetic guy. He always just said what came to his mind, no hesitations. Because of this, he sometimes said things that hurt your feelings, but you were usually really good at hiding it.

However, while trying to get Scaramouche to wear matching pajamas with you, he ended up shouting at you, calling you childish, and telling you how annoying it was. He didn't mean it at all, though. He loved that you were so childish, so childlike and excited about everything. He felt so guilty after telling you that, but he couldn't find it in himself to apologize.

However, over the next few weeks, Scaramouche noticed how you were trying to change, little by little. You didn't go to your favorite fast food restaurants, you didn't depend on him for anything, you didn't ask for comfort, and you tried dressing in less childish clothes. And it broke his heart. He didn't want you to lose what you had. He loved that you were so childish. He loved that part of you so much.

His breaking point was when he saw you putting your stuffed animals in a bag to sell, since he knew how much you adored stuffed animals. He gently put his hands on yours, taking the bag away. "Hey, stop that. Why the hell are you giving these away?"
