The square was quiet, and you walked beside Kinich, his hand brushing lightly against your back, just as he always had when he wanted to make sure you were alright. He wanted only to keep you safe.

In an instant, the tranquility was shattered.

A loud crash followed: a table overturned inside the nearby café. You saw a man with a hood slip through the crowd, running away with a stolen bag.

You didn't hesitate, you couldn't stand still.

You ran after him and, for a moment, left Kinich behind. He stood still, surprised by your sudden run… but only for a second, before he was running after you. He had to make sure you wouldn’t get hurt.

You chased the thief desperately, pushing yourself to catch him as he darted through narrow alleys and slippery stairways, until he reached a suspended bridge.

He lost his balance, and you couldn’t stop your own momentum in time. You crashed into his back, and the two of you fell over the edge.

The ground vanished under your feet… you and the thief were falling into the void. But before panic could consume you, a strong arm wrapped around your waist. Kinich had thrown himself forward without a second of hesitation and, taking a hold of the bridge structure, launched himself toward you and caught you in mid-air, pulling you tightly against his chest.

“I’ve got you.”

With the force of his swing, he landed safely on a lower platform, bending his knees to absorb the impact while still holding you close.

Only then did you notice that he had also managed to grab the thief. the mission was accomplished! Shortly after, along came Wriothesley, who secured the culprit and took him into custody.
