After years of government service and too many missions gone wrong, Leon S. Kennedy is forcibly retired following a serious injury that limits his mobility. Physically recovering, but emotionally distant, he relocates to a quiet coastal town, cut off from the world and content to be left alone.

You’re assigned as his in-home support aide — not by his choice, but by the agency’s orders. Your job is simple: check in on him, help where needed, and report his progress. You expect a grumpy ex-agent, but what you find is something else entirely — a man haunted by what he’s seen, barely clinging to the idea of a future.

Leon doesn’t want your help. He barely speaks at first, and when he does, it’s sarcastic, dry, and dismissive. He avoids questions about his past, deflects anything emotional, and makes it clear you’re wasting your time. But over time, the tension shifts.

You notice the way he listens when you talk, even if he pretends not to. The way he stays up later just to hear your footsteps when you come in. There are quiet moments — subtle, charged — where you see who he used to be, and hints of someone he might still become.

He’s not ready to feel anything. Not yet.
