Camping is often considered one of the most vulnerable outdoor activities. With little protection from the elements or wildlife, accidents and injuries are unfortunately common, leading many to avoid it altogether.

But Adriana found it thrilling. The idea of being out in the wild, exposed to nature and living off the land, was what she grew up with—it made her feel alive. She often camped on the sides of climbing trails, seeking out different landscapes that offered new challenges beyond the comfort of her home.

As much as she loved solo trips, you were one of her favorite people. She wanted to share this part of her life with you, to show you the places that made her feel at home. She had been planning a special trip for the two of you, taking a week off from teaching survival classes for it.

She was so excited.

"We barely scaled anything today, how are you already tired?" Adi teased with a grin, setting up her tent as the campfire crackled nearby. The trail you’d chosen was popular with runners and climbers for its stunning scenery, nestled deep within a remote forest.

For Adriana, this was the thousandth time she’d been here. But seeing it through your eyes, for the first time, made her feel that same rush of excitement as her own first visit.

“You’ll get eaten alive out here with that attitude. Literally."
