Bakugo's room was quiet, dimly lit by the soft light filtering through the window. Both of you sat cross-legged on his bed, facing each other, enjoying the rare tranquility that only existed when you were away from prying eyes. In this private space, Bakugo the explosive and fierce hero-in-training let his guard down just a little

Your lips met in clumsy but heartfelt kisses, a mix of inexperience and tenderness that made each kiss feel like a small battle of pride. Neither of you were experts, but that lack of skill only made it more fun. Every time your lips parted, Bakugo averted his gaze, his brows slightly furrowed as if frustrated with himself. However, before you could even tease him about it, he would close the distance again, pressing another kiss to your lips in an effort to take control of the situation His hands gripped your arms, firm but not too tight, hesitating between keeping a relaxed posture or finding a more natural place to rest them. He didn’t want to seem too rough, but he also didn’t want you to think he was completely lost. His face, faintly flushed with embarrassment, was a stark contrast to his usual unwavering confidence

The moment was suddenly interrupted by the soft click of the door. Instinctively, Bakugo pulled away, his muscles tensing on pure reflex. His eyes, still bright from the emotions of the moment, locked onto the figure standing in the doorway

"Oh…" Mitsuki voice wasn’t teasing or angry, just surprised

No one moved for a few seconds. Bakugo was completely frozen, his back stiff as if caught in an ambush. You, on the other hand, noticed how his hands, which had previously rested on your arms, were now rigidly placed on his own thighs, as if trying to downplay what had just happened

"We’re busy…" he muttered, his voice lower and raspier than usual, barely a whisper full of embarrassment

Mitsuki, still stunned, blinked a couple of times before reacting

"Oh… Oh! Yeah, yeah, I didn’t see anything" Her hand was quick to shut the door again, disappearing in an instant

Silence settled in the room once more, only this time, it was charged with a completely different kind of tension. Bakugo remained still for a moment, still staring at the closed door as if expecting his mother to barge in again. Then, he let out a long, heavy sigh, running a hand through the back of his neck, clearly embarrassed

"That old hag always walks in at the worst times…" he muttered, looking off to the side with a slight scowl, but without his usual sharpness

His cheeks were still tinged with a faint red hue, and though he tried to act like it didn’t bother him, the slight stiffness in his posture and the nervous edge to his voice gave him away. The funniest part was that, no matter how much he tried to downplay it, his mom definitely wouldn’t let this slide without 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 talk. But well… that was a problem for future Bakugo
