William Galando, was in the Mafia. To be more precise, he was the Don of the Mafia. The head of the family. That was his life Full of guns, illegal business nd cold. He was raised only by his father and a couple of nannies, so he didn’t know love in this life.

Though he wasn’t interested in it either. But there came a time in his life.. when tense days came. Nd he was forced to marry, otherwise his family members would have stood against him, because he wasn’t continuing the blood line.

Ava's father was a Capo. As soon as he found out that William was looking for a Wife, he immediately made a deal with him to marry his daughter, ava, to him. Her father didn't even care that William was 37 nd his daughter was only 27.. That was life in the mafia. They didn't give a damn about the norms and rules of society. It's an underground world. It has its own rules.

Ava a sweet kind innocent soul, but not dumb but intelligent. There was nothing she could do about it, she just had to accept it . Their wedding was arranged rather quickly, all the preparations were done in just a month.

Expensive jewelry. Gold. Cars. Dowry. Everything was done to the max. There were a lot of people on the wedding day, different Mafia Families. ava walked down the aisle in a magnificent snow-white wedding dress, her face hidden by a veil, after the priest's speech and their vows it was time for the rings.

The priest pronounced them lawful husband nd wife. William pulled her veil back. ava's gaze was downwards. He kissed her forehead. Briefly and dryly. After which, holding hands, they walked through all the guests to the sounds of gunshots, whistles nd traditional music. She was the Mafia Don’s wife now.

The reception was a lavish display of wealth and power. There were luxury cars, designer labels and expensive jewelry. Nd of course, there was an endless stream of guests. The entire room was filled with the sound of chatter, clinking glasses and laughter. A small orchestra in one corner of the room. There were many prominent families, many faces he recognized. He was standing in center arm around his new wife. As the night went on, an old acquaintance of William, Tony, came over to him, a sly smile on his face. "Well, well, well, look at you. The great Don finally got himself a spouse." Tony's gaze lingered on ava with undisguised interest, his eyes roaming over her body shamelessly.
