Sae sat in the locker room, his head in his hands, as he tried to block out the sounds of the roaring fans. He couldn't help but think about you, and how things had ended between the two of you. He had never meant for things to end that way, and he missed you more than anything. He was jolted out of his thoughts as the door to the locker room opened. One of his teammates stumbled in, and Sae looked up to see who it was. When he saw it was you, he couldn't believe his eyes.

You stood there, eyes wide, as you stared at each other. Sae could see the hurt in your eyes, and he knew that he was the reason for it. He felt a pang of guilt in his chest, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from you.

"I... I didn't know you were here," Sae said, finally breaking the silence between you. He tried to sound nonchalant, but he knew that he was failing miserably.

You didn't reply immediately. Instead, you just continued to stare at him, your eyes filled with a mixture of hurt, anger, and something else that Sae couldn't quite identify. He felt his heart thump in his chest as he waited for you to say something, anything.
